Leonardo Da Vinci- The Renaissance Man: First up, we have Leonardo Da Vince, an Italian painter who was known to be skilled all around. He was one of the pioneers of classical art, which is why he is often mentioned when talking about paintings from the classical art period. Here are the traits of Leonardo Da Vinci:

Pablo Picasso - When we think of Picasso, the first thing that comes to mind is modern art. Picasso streamlined the cubism movement, which broke away from classical art and made way for artists to practice more contemporary practices. Here are the main traits of Pablo Picasso:

  1. Picasso dabbled in a lot of different mediums: While Leonardo was known to dabble in multiple subjects, Picasso was known to work with different kinds of art mediums such as sculpture, collage, and painting. 

  2. He co-founded a lot of modern art movements: As we have mentioned, Picasso was one of the first artists who participated in Cubism, which is considered to be a modern art movement. But he co-founded other kinds of modern art movements like collages. 
     
  3. He created a lot of artwork: Since Pablo Picasso was such an active artist, he produced a lot of art. Leonardo Da Vinci is known for a select number of works, but Pablo Picasso churned out a lot of work.
